In our last Comic-Con post we talked about how this San Diego sci-fi/comic book convention has become one of the world’s most important pop culture juggernauts. One of the most important aspects of SDCC is the fan participation through cosplay, showing up to the convention in elaborate costumes of favorite characters.
Cosplay’s become an entire subculture within a subculture and there’s even professional cosplayers!! While most of the costumes are intricate and mind blowing, some of the most amazing ones are the sexy outfits on even sexier women. Geeky is hot, and nerds are in, and if you don’t believe us just gaze at these stunning and sexy cosplay Comic-Con GIFS!
HARLEY QUINN
Dressing up as Harley Quinn, the Joker’s girlfriend, and one of the main characters of this summers blockbuster Suicide Squad, is an extremely popular cosplay choice. We could do an entire post of sexy Harleys, but this gal is doing it right!
CATWOMAN
You don’t have to be a comic book fan to love this Catwoman! Does she make you want to dress up as Batman and chase her around the convention floor?
SCOOBY DOO’S, VELMA
Maybe we’re letting our personal turn-ons sneak in here, but we’ve always had a thing for Velma from Scooby Doo…
CAPTAIN PLANET
Some cosplayers play a bit of game to take an unsexy character and put a sexy spin on them. Captain Planet was a mulleted green cartoon dude from the 90s and this talented lass has discovered a way to make an attractive cosplay of him.
WITCHBLADE
Witchblade is a supernaturally themed comic book series infamous for it’s numerous depictions of bountiful bosoms. You don’t really need to read it as this cosplayer kind of sums up all 185 (!) issues.
LARA CROFT
The multi-media Tomb Raider franchise has inspired plenty of hot costumes over the years, and there’s always room at the con for another Lara Croft.
SUPERGIRL
Sexy isn’t just about looks people. If you can find a flying girl that’s a major aphrodisiac.
POKEMON TRAINER, MISTY
Pokemon has returned to the public consciousness in a big way making this take on Pokemon trainer Misty better than ever.
These girls cosplaying characters from the anime Universo have inspired me to never make fun of geek culture ever again. Really. Ever.
