Question: What if I don’t want to post my GIF right away?
If you see a GIF you like but want to save it for later then copy the URL. When you find that perfect moment, just paste the URL in your Facebook status. Bam! You have a GIF.
Question: Why am I seeing only a black bar or a white bar that links back to MakeaGif?
Make sure your GIF is under 8 mb or it may show up to be static.
Question: My GIF isn’t animating right away, what’s happening?
Facebook tries to save some of their bandwidth so you may see a static image with a round circle that says GIF in it. So don’t panic, people will still be able to see the GIF if they just click on the round button.
Question: My GIF was animated on Facebook, but it’s been a week and now it’s not.
As mentioned, it’s Facebook’s decision when they want to have a GIF autoplay. Unfortunately we have no control over that!
