This may seem like a strange pairing; avocado and chocolate in a brownie? What kind of crazy sorcery is this? But believe us, this simple and easy dessert is amazing. It’s good and will blow your friends minds (you can’t really taste the avocado). Check below for the full list of ingredients and preparation. SERVES: 12 brownies (or 1 painful sitting if you’re like us)
INGREDIENTS
For Brownies:
2 Avocados
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/3 cups cocoa powder
1/2 cup flower
1 tsp vanilla
For Frosting:
2 avocados
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
PREP:
For the brownies, mash the avocados first. then mix in all other ingredients. Mix well.
Fold into buttered baking sheet. Bake for 30 min at 350 degrees F.
In blender, mix avocados, sugar and vanilla. Blend until smooth.
Once brownies have cooled, frost brownies. Sprinkle with nuts.
